The scope of our work is primarily focused on small business development and recovery through technology, however we are now specialized to assist those businesses and communities most impacted by COVID-19.

What primary services do you offer?

CRA-ED services are fall into two categories, consulting services and technology implementation services. Consulting services have been rendered to both public entities and non-profits, usually regarding strategic planning. Technology Implementations refer to our ongoing initiative to provide free point of sale hardware and software, discounted utilities, and coaching to small businesses.

All employees at CRA-ED have roots in retail technology, with a focus on operations and strategy. Since the inception of CRA-ED, we’ve worked to bolster our skills with regard to private and public grant writing, public outreach, and community development.

What are the rates of your services?

• In regards to our technology implementation services, the end beneficiary involved (typically a small restaurant or retailer) would not be charged anything by CRA-ED.

• For other public or nonprofit entities, the rates are dependent upon scope of work.

Where does CRA-ED operate?

CRA-ED started operating in Boston, MA serving the communities within the Boston Main Streets Foundation (BMFS) preview. Since then, CRA-ED has expanded to work in multiple states across the country.

How are small businesses chosen to receive program benefits?

Prior to the implementation of a project, CRA-ED works with either the community leaders or partnering non-profit to set parameters. This would include the rubric used to determine if a small business should be added to a given deployment. Rubric items include but are not limited to: revenue, years in operation, demographics, geography, and technical ability.

These funds tend to have quantifiable requirements to both the execution and measurement of program impact
